Cosmetology Crossover Course Description
The clock hour education is provided through a system of working on tasks that help prepare the students for state board exams and that prepare them with job entry skills. School equipment is comparable to that used in the industry. The course is presented by following specified lesson plans using lecture, demonstration, visual aids and student participation.
Students are assigned theory work and mannequin work. Mannequin work is evaluated as completed and signed off on requirement sheets when work is done satisfactorily or better. Students must maintain a grade average of 75% and pass a final exam prior to graduating. Students who score low on their test will take it again when the class is on that chapter. The school at times will go over chapters more than once. Students must pass test and do all assignments prior to graduating.
